A Passion for Law and People
Lisa’s first legal jobs were in Northern California, working for the District Attorney’s Office and the Superior Court. She earned her Paralegal Certificate in 2006 and went on to work as a Courtroom Clerk for the Superior Court in San Jose and Palo Alto for almost 10 years.
Lisa later went through a contentious divorce and had to represent herself after she could no longer afford her attorney. She describes this as one of the hardest times in her life. "They say you don't choose your area of law; it chooses you. Perhaps this is why I am most passionate about being of service to those going through family law matters. Now I get to help other families."
From the Bay Area to Arizona: A Life-Changing Move
In 2022, Lisa’s journey took her from the bustling Bay Area to the warm embrace of Arizona. She worked for the Superior Court in Arizona and later transferred to the Family Services of Conciliation Court. In 2023, Lisa was certified by the Arizona Supreme Court as a Legal Document Preparer and became a Notary Public.
A Proud Parent
Outside of her professional life, Lisa’s heart belongs to her family. She takes immense pride in her daughter (age 24), her son (age 12), and her beloved grand-doggy, Sophia Linda. Her family is a source of profound happiness and being a mother has been her greatest joy.
